Dear families,
I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.
I have had the chance a couple of times this week to walk around the school during classtime. I have honestly been so impressed with the atmosphere and sense of purpose in every room I walked by. Children were calm and happy, engaged, with heads down. The way they have settled to the new times is fantastic. It is also a credit to all the staff in the school who make this possible by their planning, care and professionalism. Thank you also to the whole school community for making things work.
*REMINDERS*
Parking - You MUST PARK away from the school at the beginning and end of the day and not park illegally or on the yellow zig zag lines by the school. Park on Braybrook and Mellitus Street, there are plenty of spaces here. Avoid driving along Stokesley and Mellitus street between 3.05 and 3.20pm.
SIMS Pay - please download the SIMS Pay app so you can pay for school meals online.
Headlice - please check your child's hair regularly for headlice. If your child has headlice (nits) then you should treat this immediately
Children's safety - as the nights draw in, please remind the children about taking care and 'stranger danger'
Christmas in school- We will have to change how we celebrate Christmas this year in school to stay safe. The nativity will not take place in the same way though we do have some plans! Watch this space. One thing to take part in is the Christmas card competition. Please see the information attached to this newsletter.
Stay safe, have a good weekend and follow the guidance.
