Dear families,

The Christmas jumpers today make the school colourful and thank you for the money your child brought in to go the charity Save the Children. Teachers have now completed their assessments and we have a better idea of their progress this term. The final music lessons of the term took place this week as well. Music will start again in the new year.

*COVID UPDATE*

Please can you complete an LFT test with your children again at the weekend as a family. I have decided to close Peach class until the end of term, as there has been 3 positive cases in the class over the last two weeks. Work will be put on Seesaw for this class. If you have children in the school who are in Peach class and other classes please test all your children with a PCR at the weekend. Any brother or sister of children in Peach class will be sent home if they show any symptoms of Covid. At the moment, I have no reason to suspect further cases in the school and still believe if we are careful and work together we can keep it this way until next Friday. No school assemblies will take place next week and we will continue to limit contact between classes.  Staff will wear a mask in all communal areas inside.

*EVENTS IN SCHOOL NEXT WEEK*

The Christmas dinner and the class parties will still take place next week as it stands at the moment.  No food from home should be sent in for the class parties. NON UNIFORM DAY and SCHOOL FINISHES AT 1.45pm NEXT FRIDAY, 17th DECEMBER.
