*FIRST DAY OF TERM*

date posted: 27/08/2021

Dear families,

I hope you have had a great summer and are looking forward to the new term. I know the weather has not been great in this country over the last 6 weeks, but I would like to think that you managed to have a break of some sort.

We have had lots of children in the school with summer camp and so I have heard the sound of children's voices when I have been in, but it is not the same as a school day, and I can't wait!

*FIRST DAY OF TERM*

School begins again on Thursday, September 2nd for Years 1 to Year 6. School begins at 8.55am. School finishes at 3.15pm.

  • All children in Years 1 and 2 go to the Key Stage 1 gate
  • All children in Years 3,4,5 and 6 go to Key Stage 2 gate

From September we will no longer be in bubbles and no longer have different start and end times. We will still be more cautious in school and react to the situation with Covid as and when it changes. The virus is clearly still around and so I will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if we decide to do things differently as the term begins.

  • Reception class begins on Friday 3rd September and Nursery will begin again on Tuesday 7th September.

I am in school again on Tuesday, 31st August, so please email or call the school if you have any questions about this.

Have a good weekend.

Best wishes

Joe
