Dear families,

The children have been absolutely fantastic this week and settled so quickly. The staff have worked so hard to make things work so well. Thanks to everyone.

The start and end of the day seem to be going smoothly. You have helped with this by waiting socially distanced where you can and moving away quickly after you pick up your child/children. Remember Years 1, 2 and 6 use the Key Stage 1 gate on Stokesley Street and Year 3, 4 and 5 use the Key Stage 2 gate on Mellitus Street. Early Years use their gate on Erconwald Street.

Deliveries are beginning to arrive. The uniform came late on Thursday so it is available from Jenny at frontdesk@oldoak.lbhf.sch.uk. 

You may have seen the bus in the car park. This will be a learning space for the children of the school and the community particularly to study the STEM subjects - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. It will also be used as a space for groups looking in to the environment and well-being/mental health. I will let you know when this is officially open later this term, but it looks fantastic both outside and inside.

The nursery partnership with Imperial College is also open but I will tell you more about this next week.

FRIDAY 10th SEPTEMBER - INSET day - staff training, the school is closed to children for this day.
