Sycamore Class

Hello Sycamore class,

I hope that you are all doing well at home during this extended break from school.  I am missing you all just as I am sure you are all missing myself, each other and everyone at Old Oak Primary.

Remember to keep as active as possible, both physically and mentally as it will not only help keep yourself busy, but also it will help everyone else in your home to keep calm too.

9 Oclock Clipart Have you been watching ‘PE with the Body Coach’ on youtube?  It is on at 9am/ 09:00/ 9 o’clock in the morning (remember out last maths lesson? I certainly hope so ;) This is a great way to start the day and to get that brain active.  I have been doing it too!

In addition to that, I have been reading lots.  I have already read two large books, both of which I really enjoyed.

On top of that I have been keeping busy on youtube, watching documentaries about the world, especially geography topics.  However more recently I have been learning more about history and using google to teach myself more about the history of not only this country, but all around the world.

We really do live in a fascinating world and what is happening now, is just another chapter in the history of mankind.  It will all be over soon so don’t worry and just accept that this is how we currently have to live our lives.

A little riddle for you (I’ll reveal the answer next time)

What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?

You can find more ideas to learn on our Home Learning section on the menu button.

Have fun learning!

Mr Smith
