The children have had a marvellous time settling into the year. In school, the class has set a fantastic example to younger children throughout both Key Stages.
Time is already flying- our days are packed with important and creative learning. We have almost finished our class Book (Beowulf) and we are enjoing our topic about the Anglo Saxons and Vikings.
Although our curriculum is busy and exciting, the highlight of the week is Swimming. The children are exhausted by the time they finish, but everyone has a smile on their face!
I almost forgot drumming! I’m sure you have noticed your child tapping out rhythms on all kinds of surfaces, as instructed by our Drumming teacher, Mr Pickett.
With your help, we are going to have a demanding and dynamic year.
