Aspen class have had an exciting start to the New Year. We have already been on a trip to Imperial College, South Kensington Campus, for the first session of a Maths project we are taking part in. The children were able to work in a laboratory with students that are studying a range of scientific courses at degree level.

We have also begun our weekly swimming lessons on Mondays which the children are enjoying, and are continuing our sessions with Mike every Thursday.

Our Power of Reading book "Suffragette" is providing the class with a lot of material for debate and inspiration for their writing and drama. The class has continued to build on the good Maths and English progress that they made last term and they are applying these skills across the curriculum.
