Aspen class have had a great start to the new school year. We will be visiting the Imperial College, South Kensington Campus, for the first session of a Maths project that we are taking part in. The children will be able to work in a laboratory with students that are studying a range of scientific courses at degree level.

We have also begun our weekly P.E sessions with Mike on Wednesdays and Clare on Thursdays, which the children are enjoying. We are continuing our ukulele sessions with Mike every Tuesday.

Our Power of Reading book "Werewolf Club Rules" by Joseph Coelho is providing the class with a lot of material for comparing different genres of poetry. The class has continued to build on the good Maths and English progress that they made last term and they are applying these skills across the curriculum.
